La democracia liberal es el sistema político que Estados Unidos exige a sus subordinados por ser el más sencillo de parasitar e integrar en su esfera imperial.
No hay en esta premisa intención moral o empatía alguna.
La democracia liberal es ideal porque:
1) Genera una fractura política interna perpetua y esclerótica, haciendo que los países abandonen su soberanía en un conflicto constante entre facciones creadas artificialmente.
2) La democracia liberal diluye el patriotismo y, en lugar de unir a la ciudadanía en una causa común, la divide en facciones carentes de poder real para beneficiar a la sociedad en su conjunto.
3) Permite la liberalización total de la economía, de modo que Estados Unidos solo necesita emplear su poder financiero y el dólar para parasitar sectores estratégicos.
4) Evita que Estados Unidos tenga que administrar directamente otros Estados; basta con financiar a los actores adecuados para impulsar sus intereses.
5) Ofrece a los pueblos una falsa sensación de libertad, haciéndoles creer que tienen un poder real sobre la soberanía de su país, cuando en realidad participan en un concurso de popularidad periódico impulsado por los aparatos propagandísticos de cada nación y de los propios Estados Unidos.

The UK has officially removed Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (HTS) — an Al-Qaeda linked militia — from its list of terrorist organizations. According to an order laid before the Parliament, HTS will no longer face restrictions under the Terrorism Act 2000. The Starmer government claims the decision will “enable diplomatic engagement” with Syria’s de facto authorities and help advance “counterterrorism” and migration goals. A group once recognized as an Al Qaeda affiliate, responsible for sectarian attacks, beheadings and persecution of minorities in Syria, is now being rebranded as a potential “partner.” Meanwhile, the same UK government has criminalized Palestine Action — a non-violent movement that targets arms manufacturers supplying Israel — labeling it a terrorist organization. The irony couldn’t be starker: Britain is normalizing jihadist proxies while persecuting activists who expose war profiteers and call for accountability in Gaza.

It's nothing more than one of the most expensive imperial tributes in history. Just a massive one-way transfer of wealth with no reciprocal benefits
The "deal" is:
- The EU now gets charged 15% tariffs on its exports to the US when they commit to charging zero tariffs on US imports in the EU
- The EU agrees to invest $600 billion in the US, for no other obvious reason than pleasing "daddy"
- The EU will "purchase hundreds of billions of dollars of American military equipment"
- The EU commits to buying 750 billion dollars worth of very expensive US LNG, specifically $250 billion for each of the next 3 years
In exchange for all these concessions and extraction of their wealth they get... nothing. I'm not even exaggerating, that IS the deal: the EU gets nothing.
This does not even remotely ressemble the type of agreements made by two equal sovereign powers. It rather looks like the type of unequal treaties that colonial powers used to impose in the 19th century - except this time, Europe is on the receiving end.
More worryingly, this sets a dynamic and a precedent: what do you think happens next from here? In the 19th century, were colonial powers content with their first unequal treaty? Of course not - one of the key rules of geopolitics is that weakness only encourages further exploitation.
Again, this is Europe's century of humiliation.
