@AstonMartinF1 Now you need to get a decent driver to help Alonso.

@TimurNegru I’ve seen this one! Real gem.
What’s missing? Me. Ha.
Good work mate.

69 acres of private Tuscany for €690k ($797k).
The land includes an olive grove, a fruit orchard, a cork oak grove and 20 hectares of woodland. A natural spring produces 3,000 litres of water a day, solar panels cover the electricity and yes, it does have wifi.
It's also been renovated, 370m² (3,983 sq ft) across 3 floors, 3 beds, 3 baths, with a pool and a sauna. 50 km to Volterra.
Off-grid, self-sufficient, sauna, pool..what's missing here?

English

@TimurNegru If you get the chance, hop over to Puerto Morelos. Quiet and small fishermen town. Truly authentic. Feliz cumpleaños señor!
English

@TimurNegru I have to say that you started quite a debate, mate! Have fun, be safe.

Landed safely in Orlando, weather is amazing, us and kids are super excited and we even managed to get some Mexican food at 9pm.
Thanks to all who shared advice and recommendations - much love.

I’m a European about to fly to America for the first time. I’ve been told to prepare for: - Airport the size of a small country - Someone aggressively welcoming me to have a great day - A sandwich that costs $24 - Tipping at the airport. At the airport. - XXXL portion sizes Will report back.
English

@peteVII @TimurNegru Depends on where you go - we've found "aziende multietniche" (and similar in ESP, NED) where you can find all kinds of good stuff, if you're craving.
English

@El_Profesor_eth @TimurNegru Similar experience, there is something about the salsa and Mexican sauces that I haven’t found in Europe. I guess it might have to do with the peppers, access to certain ingredients and general fear of spice that many Euro countries have.

@peteVII @TimurNegru Ah - I do agree there (your last point). Just need to bring your salsa to the other side of the pond. Haven't seen tomate verde/tomatillo there just yet.
In ATX we do have a few nice spots of Mex-Mex - the hole in the wall kind.
Now I'm hungry ;o)
English

@El_Profesor_eth @TimurNegru Agree that the quality of ingredients makes European food more consistently better across various types of cuisines.
I just haven’t found Mexican food to be consistently as good in Europe as in the United States. There are always exceptions.
English

@peteVII @TimurNegru Disagree. True Mex-Mex is hard to find. Tex-Mex does abound, but I'm sorry... any kind of yellow cheese is just not cheese ;o)
In Europe all food items - even in Northern Europe - far superior than US. It's the quality of the ingredients that matters. Cheers.
English

@TimurNegru Enjoy! The only food America consistently does better than Europe is Mexican :) if you like liquor find a bar where you can do a nice tequila tasting, you’ll find a wide assortment.
English

@HeyThereItsEric @TimurNegru lol - that was the original intent. But yes, both apply, I guess! Cheers,

@El_Profesor_eth @TimurNegru Be aware! POS also means “Point Of Sale.”

@betty_nft My kids rocked Soda Stereo, Fobia and Maná from toddler age - we switched the lyrics sometimes to make them funny for them.

Spanish music artist recommendations wanted please (kid friendly)! My daughter’s best friend is Mexican, and she’s set out to learn Spanish to be able to speak to her family in their language when she’s at their home. We’re doing online classes, but also immersion through movies and music. Ty in advance! 🤝💖

Someone is selling their mountain in Andalucía (Spain). 280 hectares. For €1.5M.
That's 692 acres of private wilderness: deer, Ibex, wild boar, partridge - with a 6-bed cortijo built to a high spec 12 years ago. Wine cellar accessed through a hatch in the floor, outdoor kitchen, pool, solar panels, the lot.
~30 minutes from Granada city. Near the Embalse de Colomera.
Now here's what makes this interesting beyond the estate itself.
There's a constant debate on here about what happens post-AGI. When AI does most of the work, what do people actually do with their time?
I think places like this become the answer. A private estate where you can hunt, hike, grow food, entertain, build things, raise animals..basically live a full and physical life.
What do you guys think.. is this the best post-AGI investment?
