Marner's most noticeable years were under Babcock. Tortorella is literally Babcock but without the sociopath part. It's well documented how good of a guy Tortorella is. He's a hardass, but he's respectful.
I'm not surprised Marner is doing very well with him as his coach.

Feels like we won’t be blessed this time with the Leafs making a hilarious and obviously bad, backwards-looking GM choice, but it was nice that we had the Treliving era to remind us of how things are supposed to be.
