A DSA-backed Democrat running in one of the key swing House seats that will determine control of Congress says he supports abolishing the U.S. Senate, arresting Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu during his upcoming trip to the U.S., and refuses to back Hakeem Jeffries as House speaker.
Oliver Larkin, 33, is challenging Rep. Jared Moskowitz in next month's Florida primary — the latest battleground in the escalating civil war between the Democratic Party's far-left flank and its center-left establishment. He's one of just four congressional candidates endorsed by the Democratic Socialists of America, and the only one running in a competitive swing district.
Larkin called Israel's ruling coalition a "religious supremacist regime" and slammed Moskowitz as a "milquetoast neoliberal corporate Democrat."
