@NM12713716 @marhin @JillBelch Indeed, but excess will be managed by battery technology given time. By industrial opportunities I mean for example in the summer over production from solar will drive down energy cost making seasonal bulk manufacturing sensible for high energy cost industries ie steel making.

Nuclear is costly, slow to build, dangerous. Cost of Hinckley = solar panels on 1/4 houses in UK “Scotland has it absolutely right. You don’t need to take the risk, the waste, the expense of nuclear power. It’s intricately connected to the nuclear weapons sector.”

Yes, there are always two sides in the conflict - but in this case, speaking of Israel/Palestine, one side is so morally bankrupt, it's almost beyond human comprehention. I have never seen or heard of a group of people do things so disgusting, as Israel did to Palestinians. Among other reasons, this comes from impunity as they can do whatever they want without consequences. So as a prerequisite to any kind of peace, they would have to - Face the consequences for their actions - install a real justice system, not a two-tier one. Murder, theft, vandalism, arsen, torture, rape is wrong - no matter which side does it. - Stop stealing people's houses, and give reparations to those that have been stolen; stop stealing other country's land as well - Prosecute the war criminals x.com/trtworld/statu…

Iran can bomb London. Is this what it will take for Keir Starmer to wake up? A Missile attack on a UK Base? Keir Starmer needs to quickly realise that helping the Americans only threatens everyday British People. British People will die if Starmer follows the path he's on.

They keep saying migrants are the reason you cannot get a home. Sit with the numbers for a second. There are 242,000 people in England facing the worst forms of homelessness. Around 32,000 asylum seekers are in hotels. That is the figure they want you to picture. That is the image they repeat. Now look at what they leave out. There are 998,000 empty homes in England. Over 265,000 have been sitting empty long term. Entire streets. Entire blocks. Locked up while people are told there is no space. Then there is land. Not green fields. Not the last bits of nature left around towns. Brownfield land. Former industrial sites. Places already built on and abandoned. Reports show almost 1.5 million homes could be built there. So the truth is uncomfortable for them. This is not a shortage created by migrants. It is a system that leaves homes empty while people sleep in temporary accommodation. It is a choice to ignore brownfield land while threatening green space. It is a failure of policy not an invasion of people. The numbers do not support the story they are selling. Every person in temporary housing and every asylum seeker in a hotel could be housed without touching a single piece of greenbelt. The capacity already exists. The land already exists. The homes already exist. Blaming migrants is easier. It is louder. It gets headlines. Fixing the system would require actually doing the work.

@TweetCat666 @eric74551470 @AlexBarnicoat_ There are 2 sides every time there is violence, the Jews aren't always to blame and sometimes they are but how to stop the killing? What do we do if the Palestinians wont stop? they say they wont. What about Hezbollah? If Iran keeps paying them to fight?

This kind of thing happens on a daily basis to Palestinians. This is the West Bank - not war related - and was ongoing way before Oct 6th. How can they "accept" this? When this happened to Jews, they called it the Kristallnacht, and now they're the ones doing it. Justice doesn't work in this country - nothing will happen to these thugs - it never does. x.com/IhabHassane/st…

@joncoop194 @marhin @JillBelch Do you see a problem with buying anything from outside the UK China supplies nearly everything you own? Making a deal with Tunisia or Spain for that matter to buy Electricity off them from solar we will subsidise is way more secure than buying gas off Russia for example.

Gender ideology says I have to consider this person just as trans as I am. This is obvious nonsense, and I am not going to do it anymore. Actual transsexuals need to take back our medical condition and kick out the fetishists. I’ve spent a great deal of my adult life undergoing painful procedures to undo the damage of puberty so I can be myself. I find it deeply offensive someone can paint their fingernails and claim to be the same thing.

@TweetCat666 @eric74551470 @AlexBarnicoat_ This is the issue right who started what, Hamas started this round on Oct 7th, on the 6th there was peace, and that peace was becoming normalised. The Palestinians will never make a deal, they have been offered them over and over and over, what do you suggest?

Every single action he took against me, ever; was a reaction to my bullying. So if I want him to stop taking actions against me, there are two possible paths a) to put him in a permanent coma b) to stop bullying him, and make a deal Without going into moral dilemmas, what you need to understand here is: path (a) is not possible. The whole city has had enough of my bullying, they all support my neighbour, and will all gang up, if needed, to teach me a permanent lesson. I am no longer the biggest guy in town, and if I don't adjust my actions accordingly, will learn this the hard way and end up in a much less favourable position in the end.

@HardScrape @MichaelAArouet I give a tipp also to them. To taxi drivers too. People who dont have too much money to tipp each service are also in usa and nobody beats them to death or arrests them, if they dont give tipp. I get you hate usa, but this is pathetic, what you present here.

And it’s not my job to pay your salary, it’s the job of your employer Can someone please explain the strange US 20–25% tipping culture? Many countries around the world don’t have tipping as a common practice. The business simply pays the salary. Why is it so different in the US?

@HardScrape @Chaosttheonly @indi_hartwell Not sure what you mean with "as soon as you open the door". It won't even start moving unless the driver wears the seatbelt, and if anyone else in the car is unbuckled, it will move, but it'll sound that alarm.

Because they don’t work like people like you claim they do. It’s not hard to completely disprove the nonsense you spout. Factor in manufacturing, installation, maintenance, electrical component failure, obsolescence, decommissioning old systems….. they emit as much carbon as all other “renewables”.

You can’t afford a coal mine. You can’t afford a gas turbine. You can’t afford an oil rig. Only fossil fuel states and billionaires can. But you can afford a solar power station on your roof. Now, ask yourself why you encounter so much anti-renewable energy propaganda.

It really does, because he doesn’t actually want to kill me - he just wants me to stop doing this to him, so that he can live in peace. And he doesn’t really resent me, but resents my boss who ordered me to do it. The idea that he’s hellbent on killing me, is pure propaganda spread by my other, evil neighbour, who wants the two of us to kill each other.

@HardScrape @Chaosttheonly @indi_hartwell We do in Germany, and my new car won't even release the parking brake when I'm not strapped in. Which is fine as I automatically put the seatbelt on of course. And if I put a heavy bag on the passenger seat, I just plug that seat belt in.
