Unrelated, but Nigeria needs a surgery gallery where we would display the surgeries we do to enlighten the national on how gifted we are..!
This particular guy did this surgery in India, this particular surgery would take a Senior registrar in Maxillofacial surgery in UNTH nothing less than 5 hours to fix I swear to God..! Not to talk of a consultant or a professor..! So why the stress running abroad..? This is even a benign growth and it’s not even an emergency to begin with.
That was how they wasted money flying baddie of LASU to Egypt to fix common Bilateral Genu varum, if they have done that surgery in UNTH they would have enough change for post op and even have a lot of change left. A lot of change oooo..!

I’ve said what I needed to say, now I’m stepping out of the “crash out” phase and into something more meaningful.
Going forward, I’ll be using this page to talk about marriage, both men and women, honestly.
I won't just focus on when to leave, but also when to stay and how to stay without losing yourself. Because the truth is, a lot of people are silently struggling.
Not everything is abuse. Not everything is fixable either. And too many people are getting advice that doesn’t fit their reality.
If my story can help even one person make a clearer decision, whether that’s to fight for their marriage or walk away with dignity, then it’s worth it.
I was attacked by many men even before telling the story behind my tough decision, guys, we need more honesty, less pressure. More clarity, less shame. If I had continued in the marriage, many of you would still judge me.

I remember when I was still in uni. There was this young lady living opposite my compound back then. They had a borehole, so whenever we ran out of water, we’d go there to fetch. That’s how we got acquainted.
One day, there was a birthday party in our compound and I got really drunk and ended up vomiting. It was this same lady that cleaned me up. I don’t know, but maybe that’s when she noticed my Dick size. I’m a medical laboratory science student, but I don’t agree with you. Conditions like Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus and Hypertension do not exist in isolation. They have downstream effects on the kidneys, liver, electrolytes, and cardiovascular system. That’s why you see EUCr, Ca/PO₄/Mg, LFTs, lipid profile, glucose indices, and urinalysis requested together. Each of them answers a specific clinical question. If the argument is about cost and accessibility, that’s a separate and valid conversation. But from a clinical standpoint, these are not “too many tests.” They are what provide the clarity needed to make informed decisions and manage complications effectively.

A medical doctor will write out tests and investigations, and a medical lab scientist will refuse to do it saying it's too many tests for one person. A nurse will come out and tell a neurosurgeon That hope it's not this brain he uses to cross the road. Once you're a medical doctor in Nigeria you're already in trouble

Pharmacists are able to review prescriptions and correct the requesting physician why a particular medication shouldn’t be given. Do you know as an MLS you are supposed to do same with test requests that don’t seem necessary and will only increase cost for a patient?
