This account primarily re-tweets posts from Toronto City Council candidates and news about municipal issues in the city. Tweets from current city councillors that are not explicitly campaign-related are not retweeted. Incumbents already have too many advantages.

@JIMBO12456334 @DustinDPlett @OrbitStudios When a dead body is found the police have to investigate, an ambulance and fire truck arrive. If they're dying but not dead yet, they go to the hospital. Have you actually lived in the world?

@wanscoodooby @globalnewsto And no, most murders and assaults are not in self-defense. Many, many, many assaults occur in the home of the assailant (abusive husbands for example!). A presumption of innocence based on being in your home when you assault someone is nuts.

@ElectionDigest @globalnewsto They can’t leave the planet. They will get caught. You know and I know that your concern would account for a very small percentage of cases. The ability to defend yourself without instant prosecution is more important than someone using the laws to kill other criminals.

@wanscoodooby @globalnewsto You sound very soft on crime. You're okay with someone who has admitted to killing someone, wandering around freely, potentially threatening and influencing witnesses or leaving the country?

@drmikehart He said the environmental devastation in the tar sands was bullshit. That's bullshit.

Not one person hating on Pierre Poilevere has criticized his talking points or policies discussed in the podcast. The haters are simply spewing emotional personal attacks on Joe or Pierre. Listen to the show.
Mike Hart, M.D@drmikehart

Saying Pierre Poilievre going on Joe Rogan is “just pandering to his base” is wrong. Rogan’s audience is full of centrists, libertarians, independents and even center-leftists. Long-form conversations don’t reinforce beliefs—they change them. This is audience expansion.

@stphnmaher Why would we need him to be PM if we already have someone he's supporting who keeps stealing his ideas? Why does Pierre act like an ass in Canada and like a diplomat on Joe Rogan?

@StevenBonkMP What's a worse form of energy than oil and gas (nevermind the ethics of other governments)?

It’s said that a lie can get around the world before the truth has a chance to put its pants on. This clip is a really good reminder that the job of defending Canadian oil and gas never stops. Pierre does a masterful job of dispelling lies that have been told about Canada’s oil sands. Canadian energy, specifically from the oil sands and Fort Mac, is ethical and adheres to world-class safety and environmental standards. Our oil and gas displaces far worse forms of energy, from far worse countries, to give Canadians a far better standard of living. All we need to do is tell the truth and correct falsehoods when we hear them.

I’m bringing forward real, immediate steps to restore safety and confidence on transit — because empty promises aren’t enough, and people deserve to feel safe getting where they need to go.
