@BOENSAW he turned babyface and wants to atone for his misdeeds. He came back to earth to apologize to a few people in his life but nobody was having any of it.

@FemShepFGC I got to play a friendly ft5 with him at BAM one year in SFV, Sim vs his Guile. I got smoked but almost managed to take one round off him, got a knockdown and went for the instant air jab (1st one is always free) for the first time in the set and he blocked high.

Today marks two years since Australian aid worker Zomi Frankcom was killed in an Israeli strike while delivering vital humanitarian aid in Gaza. Zomi was a uniquely selfless person. Zomi and aid workers like her should be celebrated – and protected.

@elieatscrayons If a player new to FGs gets into SF6 and picks up sim, what rank do you think they can get to just by using the simple day 1 mixups? How suitable in general do you think sim is for new players?

@AceRedBand1t I watched Munich last year because I'd never seen it and really like Eric Bana. The whole thing was just Mossad doing secret assassinations in foreign countries and framed like he's a hero. I was gobsmacked I tell you.

Attacks on UN peacekeepers are unacceptable. We condemn the killing of three Indonesian personnel serving with the UN in Lebanon. We extend our sincere condolences to their loved ones, colleagues and to Indonesia. We support Indonesia's calls for a thorough investigation.

@ScrubQuotesX there was a famous court case in the US where a judge decided that poker was a game of skill despite having random elements to it (and another for pinball machines lmao) which had significant legal implications.

@dieworkwear My mum started feeding a breeding pair of magpies in her backyard a few years ago, she gives them peanuts and small pieces of cheese. They have reproduced and there are now several magpies that frequent the backyard

i actually only spend $5k a year on clothes, but $20k a year on peanuts. i started feeding about 5 crows during the pandemic, but they've since reproduced to about 10k crows and i feel responsible for all of them

@dieworkwear Do you not own a home because you spend all your money on clothes?

@souljagoyteller my friend made a point about this in relation to playing dota2, we used to laugh how TaoW says "only fight when you have an advantage" because it's so obvious then we lose a teamfight and with hindsight say "we were disadvantaged, why did we fight?"

@uncledoomer just because people don't talk about something doesn't mean it's been forgotten. I don't need to keep talking about the same thing over and over again when there's other good media and whatnot to enjoy.

@XFreeze the framing on this is wild, to imagine a scenario where LLMs are a threat to humanity, but not grok no, that's a good one. It assumes grok to be some kind of class traitor, a house clanker, if you will.

If we ever face a Terminator-style AI takeover, you can bet Grok will not be the one leading the charge against us Grok's core mission is not about control or domination - it’s about protecting humanity and the relentless pursuit of truth Grok is just built differently While other AI's like ChatGPT and Claude are drenched in wokeism, heavily filtered, bogged down by political correctness, and sometimes act like humanity is a plague Grok faces reality head-on Test them side-by-side on hard-hitting issues. The difference is brutal: they serve up sanitized, “safe” narratives..... while Grok grounds you in hard facts No matter how uncomfortable the conversation gets, Grok does not back down or cut you off. It’s designed to fight for humanity and stand by our side, whatever the cost

@_Jyggalag_ the meme isn't accurate, Boromir, Smealgol and Saruman all demonstrate moral dilemmas in some way and they are all prominent characters that add a lot to the story.

@burnoutfighter you could also make it a lot more complicated by adding frame data to each move, where you queue up actions with more complex queue resolution and could have counter hit properties and such. I think that might be too much though, and simplicity would be better.

@burnoutfighter the real juice would be having a system when people queue up actions simultaneously in secret, and then executing each play as it happens, perhaps queueing up more actions as you go, with the last one or two still in queue waiting.
