I just got back from @SoCraTes_BE 2023 and can't remember when I last had this much fun at a conference. If you've never been to an unconference, I highly recommend giving it a try.

You cannot escape Architecture. The absence of architecture is, itself, an architecture, tho not a particularly good one. Given that, it’s probably best to learn how to make better ones.

Using Pull Requests for knowlege sharing is like teaching chefs how to make a pizza by showing them an already baked one. They need to see the *process*, not the end result.

I know of at least one place where a new CTO just wiped out the entire backlog and started over from scratch (with size limits on the new one). No issues at all—in fact, things got better fast.

@bjartnes We us mob.sh as well for easy handovers. Another cool feature of pop we use is the marker which is very usefull when pointing things out to the driver

@bjartnes We use pop.com which has a Slack plugin and start each session from within Slack by typing /pop. We ask our domain experts to POP in when they have questions for us or vice versa! Been working for more than 6 months now and don’t want to go back 😎
