@cordes_tax I have always respected the Jewish tradition of sitting shiva. The world needs more practice of being present.

When tragedy struck Job he had three friends come to visit him. When they arrived they saw how absolutely devastated he was & could say or do nothing but sit with him and weep for a week. People would do well to simply hurt with those that hurt and weep with those who weep. 😢

@Eligabiff You should consider looking at cost sharing options. If you are healthy, could save you a fortune and provide better coverage as well. I dumped my group plan years ago. Total waste.

@DKeesy I have no penalties if I choose to be uninsured. Just have to be able to pay my way. I already pay out of pocket for two of my regular providers.

You don’t have a choice to be uninsured. Another Obamacare treat. You will pay one way or another. Before ACA insurance companies could create their own risk pools and offer affordable rates for the working class. Those days are not coming back unfortunately, all the additional Govt subsidies (our tax money) is a patch.

@Eligabiff Oh my gosh! That’s horrible. Our renewal is March 1st. I’m dreading it. Randy turns 65 in a 22 months. It’s sad that I’m looking forward to my husband turning 65. 😂😭

@CarolCCarroll @FortWayneCPA Insurance companies. It allows the insurance companies to decide what treatments and procedures you get. Insurance companies decide how long you stay in rehab, not your doctor’s.

If you are on the Affordable Care Act health insurance, what did your premiums go up for next year if you know?

@CarolCCarroll @FortWayneCPA They are wanting to force people to advantage plans because they want it to be managed healthcare. Most people don’t realize that some of the supplements you get at 65 will never take you back once you go to an advantage plan.

Our usage is pretty low. I am able to offer a local clinic option too. They are a primary care office, carry a small pharmacy of recurring meds and have mental health options for $53 a month per employee. It costs the employee nothing out of their pocket.

@Eligabiff How does that work? Do you have more employees on the plan? Has the usage gone up from year to year? Have they added services?

@DKeesy I think you mean uninsured. Very real chance I will choose to be uninsured if my only other employee on my provided insurance does not decide to take it this year. Also, the move to managed health care in all systems is making it worse.

@Eligabiff Sucks! Subsidizing unemployed people’s insurance is expensive. Just like Obama drew it up.

@Eligabiff 100% increase for our group, because I had cancer last year with subsequent surgery and radiation treatments. They will have to kick me out of the group in order to afford. So there you go- have your insurance, just don’t use it. Yes, I’m feeling a little salty. I’m
