In the video with Linus Torvalds, you brought up Musk’s Twitter code/LOC thing and framed it as him using a bad metric to judge engineers. Torvalds called that “too stupid to work at a tech company,” and then you pointed out it was Musk.
So no, you didn’t literally say “Musk can’t code,” but you did kinda tee up a criticism of how he understands/manages software engineering output.
Also, the real email was more about impact summaries + screenshots of key code, not just “write enough LOC or you’re fired.
The LOC thing was mostly just memed into existence from a misunderstanding.
