I think it basically comes down to their opposing the war happening in the first place, and not wanting to reward a bad actor (us) for starting it.

I'm not sure this is true for every country that was struck, but pretty close?

Iran doesn’t care if a target is “legitimate” or not. They’ve also activated terror groups in countries anyway!

I think if a country does not want to be involved in a war, not allowing their bases and airspace to be used by one side in the war seems pretty reasonable. If say Spain allows use of their territory to launch strikes they become legitimate targets.

@ElijahRavitz @RandomSprint @masonq33 No one is saying any NATO country was compelled to join the war. But some of them went beyond not just joining by restricting usage of bases and airspace. This brings into question why the US is in a formal alliance with these countries. Hope this helps

San Francisco needs to fix its airport runway situation for real. Naturally, the last time the city tried to do this, environmentalists were able to kill the plan. It’s hard to imagine a fix happening now, in a more dysfunctional age.
