Cllrs have expressed concerns about proposals to reduce beds at Kilbryde Hospice. Our proposal for the Chief Exec to write to NHS Lanarkshire and ScotGov to express these concerns immediately rather than after the New Year, proposed by the administration was accepted by Cllrs.

It’s right that UK civil servants review the SNP spending taxpayers’ money on independence. There are so many other pressing priorities that deserve Scottish Government funding.

For everyone who is struggling with the cost of living at the moment and listening to the SNP saying only Independence can help- ask "How?". Answers do not come- because the truth is in an Indy Scotland cuts and tax increases will be needed to close the 12% projected deficit.

This policy would penalise tens of thousands people across East Kilbride & Strathaven simply for having a gas boiler. Our local SNP representatives must stand up for the people they serve.
