@Velo_doc I’ll say it, in 2024 there is a better way, safer way and more productive way to train then static linear lifts that do not show up on the field but increase career ending injury risk.

When you pick up heavy weight you use the flexors of the forearm wrist and hand (same one you use when you throw a baseball) If you have a heavy deadlift or heavy powerclean day and the forearm is tight - I recommend a low intent day Could mildly strain the muscle - then throw and tweak it a little more and It could turn into something really problematic I’ve heard 9 cases so far of guys texting me their forearm is tight - all 9 had a heavy deadlift day that started their forearm tightness I’m not saying don’t deadlift - I’m saying be smart with throwing when you do and listen to your arm

Typical traits of a flat ground pattern as well as guys trying to “stay back”. Very quad dominant and great example of hip extension (pushing sideways) and not rotation.
