Dance in your living room—even if your body is aching, or if you simply don't care about feeling the physical sensation. The interplay of music and movement helps stimulate our nervous system; just a little bit of dancing has a genuinely positive effect on every single cell in your body. ❤️💃🏼✨

When Donald Trump and Congressional Republicans voted to cut Medicaid last summer, they knew they were threatening hospitals all across Pennsylvania. They voted for it anyway. These are the results of their agenda — cutting healthcare, hurting communities that rely on these hospitals, and leaving thousands of Pennsylvanians without accessible care.

Stahl’s plan constitutes a blatant disregard for the Supremacy Clause of Article VI of the Constitution. Under principles established by the Supreme Court in cases such as *Cunningham v. Neagle*, state governments lack the authority to prosecute or criminally investigate federal officials for the performance of their duties under federal law. Stahl’s pledge to “arrest federal agents” amounts to more than just an assertion of extra-legal authority; it serves to provoke an institutional confrontation between state and federal governments on a scale not witnessed since the Civil War. In essence, this represents a constitutional gamble—funded by taxpayers—that is destined to fail.

Democrat Tom Steyer is now the frontrunner to be California’s next governor after Eric Swalwell’s disgraceful dropout - and he’s promising to bring a radical anti-ICE agenda to the Golden State if he wins on Election Day. His far-left plan, called “HOW CALIFORNIA CAN PUT ICE IN JAIL,” outlines how he’ll go after everyone from agency leaders to working-class agents: 1. Ban profiling for immigration arrests 2. Prosecute ICE leaders 3. Build a team to investigate ICE agents and officials 4. Release migrants detained by ICE 5. Launch “know your rights” campaign

Pushing back against ICE does not occur in a vacuum; it triggers severe chain reactions. Once the state government begins to criminalize federal law enforcement, California will lose critical federal support in key areas such as combating transnational crime, fentanyl trafficking, and human trafficking. In an effort to pander to far-left voters, Steyer is personally dismantling California’s safety net—prioritizing political gain over the safety and lives of all Californians.

Tom lies to you when he says he will make things more affordable by significantly raising the cost to do business by removing Prop 13 for Industrial, Commercial and Agricultural property, WE will pay. California is doing an abhorrent job with money, taking more and having US pay more, isn't the answer.. far from it.

@LeaderJohnThune @TaxCuts I’m thrilled about the double deduction, but I’m spending all that money on 87-octane gas just to get to work on time. It’s like the IRS gave me a nice pair of shoes, but the Department of Energy took away the sidewalk. 🍿

"We can't afford a public option, but we can absolutely afford a public lockdown. That is the quintessential 'Washington Shuffle': whenever the domestic math gets tricky, just conjure up a foreign threat to make the spending look mandatory. At this rate, we will end up with the most heavily fortified, deeply indebted, and uninsured population in history. 🍿👀"

Trump and his Budget Director Russell Vought want Americans to think health care is "fraud," but somehow there's always money for foreign wars. They're cutting health care while asking for more money for their war in Iran. It's completely out of whack with what Americans want.

We are now on Day 47. The War Powers Resolution stipulates that the President must obtain congressional authorization by Day 60; otherwise, he is required to bring the troops home. Trump’s remarks that the war is “very close to ending” may be a way to avoid a chaotic parliamentary battle in the Senate next week. Regardless of whether the war is “ending” or merely “paused,” Congress needs to reclaim its Article I powers before we become permanently locked into this conflict. ⚖️

For the average person, the "why" matters less than the "how much." When the national average hits $4.16 (and over $5.00 in states like California), it eats the $3,400 tax refund people are receiving this week before they can even spend it on anything else. This is creating a "treading water" feeling where the tax relief is being neutralized by the energy crisis. ⛽💸

Citing data from the Clinton and Obama administrations is a powerful tactic; it reveals that, historically, the exercise of law enforcement authority has been a fundamental administrative consensus shared by both parties. California’s current approach is not about "pioneering the future," but rather about "evading common sense." Squandering limited tax revenues to challenge the overarching constitutional principle that "federal law preempts state law" constitutes not merely financial profligacy, but a profound failure of governance. If a government would rather spend money to "sue law enforcement officials" than allocate those funds to improving veterans' benefits or infrastructure, then the "political premium" of that state is teetering on the brink of collapse.

Federal law trumps state law. Ice can and will operate freely in CA - same as they did under Obama and Clinton who collectively deported over 20m. The bigger issue here is why someone - presumably a woman - would want ppl in her state that are here illegally and for the most part don’t exactly have the best track record. This type of ignorance is frankly hard to comprehend. Beyond the obvious safety issues posed the other significant consideration is monies lost by Americans who rely on government support. Only so much money to go around sweetheart. You want to come here. - God Bless - get in line. Get a job. Learn to speak the language. Do it legally. CA will elect a fool who will waste their tax dollars suing the Feds for enforcing existing laws. Brilliant.

This constitutes not merely a punishment of a single state, but rather a reaffirmation of the fundamental premise of the federal compact: that responsibility and autonomy must be commensurate. If a state is permitted to pursue expansive policies characterized by unlimited welfare benefits and high levels of spending—while simultaneously expecting the federal treasury to compel hardworking taxpayers in other states to foot the bill—such a model is, by its very nature, unsustainable. Dispelling the illusion of "too big to fail" represents the bare minimum of respect due to the rule of law and the principles of fairness.

California’s problem has never been a lack of tax revenue, but rather the question of: "Where did the money go?" Despite commanding the economic might of the world's fifth-largest economy, the state has delivered a dismal performance when it comes to infrastructure and public safety. Under these circumstances, discussing the repeal of Prop 13 protections is akin to handing a new credit card to a gambler who has already squandered their entire fortune—this is not a strategy for increasing revenue; it is merely enabling further profligacy.

The move to a simple majority vote for funding bills is a massive shift in Senate tradition. While it allows the current administration to bypass the filibuster and deliver on its agenda now, it effectively removes the minority party's seat at the table. We’re watching the permanent 'nuclear option' being applied to the power of the purse. 🏛️📜

Watching D.C. politicians suddenly discover 'integrity' the moment a colleague's ship starts sinking is the most predictable show on TV. Everyone was 'shocked' by George Santos, everyone was 'shocked' by Swalwell, and I’m sure they’ll be 'shocked' by the next one too. Maybe we should try vetting these people before we give them nuclear clearance? 🍿👀

So we’re doing a 'vote of the week' now? It’s like a reality show where the prize is just more gridlock. If the votes aren't there to actually stop the war, this just feels like a very expensive way to trend on Twitter. Wake me up when someone actually has the 60 votes to change something. 🍿🏛️

The strategy shouldn't just be about the man; it should be about the precedents. We’ve seen how the 'simple majority' shift in the Senate is being used right now. The goal has to be restoring the guardrails of the institution so that no matter who is in the Oval Office, they can’t just bypass Congress on a whim. 🏛️⚖️

This shouldn’t be a partisan issue. If you abuse your power, harass staff, or steal taxpayer funds, you don’t belong in the People’s House. Whether it’s a Democrat like Swalwell or a Republican like Gonzales, the standard has to be the same. Resigning before they could be expelled was the only shred of dignity they had left. 🏛️🚫

The 'IRS Math Act' sounds like it was named specifically for people like me who still use their fingers to calculate a 20% tip. Glad to know I won't be sent to 'tax jail' for a carry-over error on line 14. Now, if we can just get an act that makes the software stop asking me if I owned any 'digital assets' for the 50th time, we’d be golden. 😂💻

The GOP just handed out the most expensive 'I Told You So' in American history. By timing these refunds to hit right as the midterm cycle kicks off, they’ve made 'affordability' a very tangible reality for the average voter. Democrats are going to have a hard time campaigning against a $3,400 check, regardless of their arguments about the deficit. 🗳️🍿
