My return to City Council shall serve as a steadfast reminder of what a good alderman is supposed to be: someone attentive to the voters, caring for all residents, and unwavering conviction at City Hall supported by the knowledge of how to get things done. Regardless who is our next mayor, or especially if Brandon Johnson returns for a second disastrous act, we need aldermen in City Council that know what their job is & how to do it. Working with our friends in Labor, community groups & business leaders, we have put people to work. We have created opportunity and vitality in communities. We have, most importantly, brought safety and sanity back to many communities. And in less than forty weeks, we must again do something together: elect a new mayor that loves and believes in Chicago and pack the City Council with common sense aldermen who can put an end to this reign of madness.
