We lost a resident to suicide at my hospital, and it’s making rounds on social media. My heart broke 💔when our residents shared they’re dealing with not only the loss of a friend—but having to defend their program against people cavalierly linking the tragedy to their own agenda

No Stark/AKS? Is the Trump Administration that confident Biden won't touch those rules if they chose not to release them today?

For many of our clients, this crisis has made difficult choices, like deciding whether to pay rent or buy food, even harder. To keep #DC children & families safe, the budget needs to make more substantial investments in stabilizing, permanent housing. @tweetelissa @ChmnMendelson

Proud to have put forth this bold resolution calling attention to the education students w/ disabilities receive during this pandemic. Even prouder to have the support of every present Board Member tonight! We must be uncompromising in holding the bar high, especially nowadays.

I’m proud to share our @FairBudgetDC budget report which prioritizes investments that support children and families. Show some love this Valentine’s Day💕 and check out our report! #LovetheDistrict and #LovethePeople
Fair Budget Coalition DC@FairBudgetDC

We challenge @councilofdc + @MayorBowser to use our budget report to show that they not only #LovetheDistrict but they #LovethePeople, who have lived here that have historically been displaced due to racism and housing, food, and economic insecurity. fairbudget.org/fy21.html

We see every day the challenges that #DC residents face with @dcra. It's time to break up the agency and create a Department of Buildings focused on tenants. @ChmnMendelson - we look forward to seeing the bill move to a vote in 2020. #healthyhousingdc

@tomsherwood @ChmnMendelson @dcbega On a @councilofdc bill that would break up @dcra: "My recollection is that I've had two public hearings, and that there's been overwhelming support of the bill. And among business groups, I think they've been neutral," said @ChmnMendelson. wamu.fm/2ThNMpA
