#BREAKING: Psaki: “…Democratic Senator Catherine Cortez Masto said the Trump administration was diverting ONE BILLION dollars of TAXPAYER money from the State Department to Donald Trump’s Board of Peace, you know, the seemingly unaccountable slash fund he created that he’ll still control once he leaves office…”🤦♀️

@DeanBaker13 Is the Board of Peace an actual government agency or a private organization?

Elissa Slotkin: We are going to have to grapple with the unbelievable corruption that is coming out of this administration. His kids alone have earned $1 billion since he became president.
A lot of my peers do whatever the president tells them to do. They've ceded power as a separate branch of government. It's amazing.

President Trump spent five minutes of his Cabinet meeting boasting of his thrift with a story about negotiating for $5 personalized Sharpies.
The company that makes the permanent markers said the exchange never happened. wapo.st/4bLTOWd

@ArtCandee This whole administration is unserious and self serving.

@hugh_jolley @allenanalysis Both Hilary and Bill Clinton requested a public hearing.
English

@allenanalysis She demanded it be private.
"I do not recall" is not confirmation of never meeting Epstein.
English

Hillary Clinton: “We agreed to a closed hearing at their demand — and one member violated that rule.”
Translation: They insisted on secrecy, then broke their own terms.
She says the deposition was paused until assurances were made, then resumed — where she repeatedly stated:
“I did not know Jeffrey Epstein. I never went to his island, his homes, or his offices.”
If you demand a closed-door process, then leak from inside it, you’re not conducting oversight.
You’re staging content.
PATHETIC.

@kaideejay @HealthRanger @yoalexrapz It causes cancer and kills people. There is absolutely no reason to use it.
English

The countries that have banned it completely rely heavily on food imports.
The countries that have banned its use as a desiccant are all net food importers.
Glyphosate is not good but RFK Jr is correct in that the USA can’t recklessly ban it and maintain food security. They need time to develop a feasible strategy to achieve true food security in the USA and I believe the right people are on the job.
English

Glyphosate is completely banned in Vietnam, Togo, Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates.
Using glyphosate as a dessicant (drying agent) is illegal in France, Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany, Austria, Italy, Denmark, the Czech Republic and the entire EU!
Yet somehow all those countries still manage to produce food for all their citizens. How is that possible if glyphosate, as we are told by propagandists, is "necessary to grow food!" ?
Turns out they are just lying. You don't need glyphosate to grow food. You need carbon dioxide, sunlight, water and healthy soils, plus minerals, nitrogen, warmth and time.

@nickmmark This in addition to the 1300 state department employees he fired.

2. Make it harder to get passports:
WHYY News@WHYYNews
The U.S. State Department has ordered certain public libraries nationwide to cease processing passport applications, disrupting a long-standing service that librarians say their communities have come to rely on and that has run smoothly for years. bit.ly/4qwOviL
