Foreign minister Penny Wong announces major changes to Australia’s diplomatic network across the Pacific: Special Envoy to the Pacific Ewen McDonald will take up the post of PNG High Commissioner, and there are new appointments to missions in Palau, Fiji and Cook Islands.
