The NEET scam involved one section of the student community. That was enough to shake Delhi, enough to corner Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, until he resigned.
In J&K, the RESERVATION issue is not about one group. An entire future is being stolen. It is erasing an entire generation and deleting an entire community. And still, the NC government has no conscience, no urgency, and no shame. It refuses to even wake up.
Has power decided it will hear nothing except the language of hunger strikes and protests?

EWS has one of the lowest cut offs among all categories.
People whose marks are less than half the cut off should not even be qualified to enter into a prestigious college.
Reservation should be just enough to lift those who fall short by narrow margin while being underprivileged, not to distribute freebies.
You guys need to come out of this hypocrisy of wanting to make entry through EWS at low score, while you mock nad question competence of some of those who fall short by narrow margin.

The last time I met Aga Sahab, I explained the flaws in the EWS eligibility criteria and how they could be changed through a simple executive order issued by the Social Welfare Department in just a few minutes. I'm glad he raised the issue during yesterday's X Spaces discussion
