Mass transit is a lifeline for people in all 67 counties who rely on it every day to get to where they need to go. It’s why I proposed historic funding for mass transit in my first two budgets. Why I secured $80 million for mass transit in my 2024-25 budget. Why I flexed an additional $153 million in federal funds to keep SEPTA running in 2024. Why I allocated an additional $220 million to help SEPTA make urgently needed maintenance and safety repairs in 2025. And it’s also why I’m staying at the negotiating table, working to bring Democrats and Republicans together until we fund mass transit for the long haul.

@GovernorShapiro There is not mass transit in all 67 counties. And many people NEVER use it. Fares should be set to cover the costs. Why should people who NEVER use it, have to pay for it?

This is a good move—it buys us time. It’s essential that we use it wisely. Acknowledge that under current conditions, there are no military solutions and a true settlement is unlikely. Follow the Reagan-in-’84 model: pull our forces out of the region, let our Gulf allies negotiate to reopen the SOH, and refocus on the issues at home and winning the next election, like Reagan did. This is the opposite of what Israel wants us to do. To prevent Israel from pulling us deeper into this war, we must impose real restraint by limiting military aid to Israel. The escalation game is a losing hand. Dump it and walk away.

@BClark980 @lizcollin @AlphaNews Christians have not been allowed to voluntarily pray in schools for decades. Sports teams have been prevented from doing voluntary prayer as well. To have a room for Muslims and not one for Christian, Jewish Buddhist etc is discriminatory.
