@Ellyat Yes - This has nothing to do with this coming winter, but it is an important & notable trend.

Winters dominated by high pressure to the south are now far more frequent vs the pre-industrial era, not only is the planet warming but cold producing weather patterns (for Europe) are becoming less common. Double whammy for UK & European cold / snow lovers.

@Ellyat I do eat a mostly plant based diet, though I don’t eat meat substitutes, they’re often loaded with other less good ingredients. When I do buy meat I buy locally.

Just been into a supermarket for the first time in a couple of weeks after eating exclusively from farm shops & butchers. It really is stunning how little real, actual food you can buy in them, 90% of it is ultra processed crap. Not weather related by any means, more of a rant, but it’s no wonder we’re facing a health crises in this country, access to real, whole food is unbelievably poor.
