@ElmsKemasha @HM_Passport Nearest one.Docs were at Liverpool but we went Peterborough.We took a withdrawal letter with us but filled a form there.Docs get sent from Lpool to Ptrborough. She said it may take just over 7 days because of docs have to be sent over. We fly mid dec

@Essie20202361 @HM_Passport Did you book your fast track at the office where they had your documents or just your nearest one? I’m in a similar boat awaiting a child’s renewal and might just try this. Thanking you in advance. X

@AnnaPrior79 @HM_Passport You don’t need them back for the fast track. We went to Peterborough. They had all our docs inc passport. Filled in a new form with what we could. Took withdrawal letter with us & submitted it.Everything gets sent back to them. Hope that helps!

@ElmsKemasha @passportwaiting I phoned them Friday and they got the examiners support team to call me back yesterday, they took my dates of travel and the postal tracking number. Not sure if it sped it up but might be worth a try?

@ElmsKemasha @passportwaiting From what one of the people on the phone said, when we applied for his first one, they accepted his short birth certificate, but in the last few years they changed the rules that you need a full birth certificate which is why they’ve asked for it this time round.

@andymardon @chloeeveraard @passportwaiting Your post gives me hope. I got asked for additional doc today and sent it off next day delivery. Besides tracking with Royal Mail, do they let you know it’s been received?

@Sonia46234871 @Y93482497 @passportwaiting It is a renewal! Called up and got to speak to someone apparently they need confirmation of my parental responsibility. Got it to the PO so hopefully they acknowledge it sooner rather than later and I hear back! 🤞

@ladymelissa_ @passportwaiting My application was stuck on the 20th October documents received, just received confirmation that my application was approved. I think you should hear by either tomorrow or Tuesday. it’s taking around 18-20 days from documents are received to the application being approved
