20 years from now, there will be a surge of aging women, alone and unhappy, led down by the illusion they once embraced as empowerment. It's on the way, and it will be massive.

And let me say this to young single ladies in relationship. If you go to cohabit with your boyfriends or you go to spend the weekend at his place. Please make sure that you return his change whenever he asks you to go buy anything. Do not say "it's small, be doesn't need it". Give account of every penny you spent from the money he gave you. Even if he is forming not interested in knowing, do it. If you see money in a random place, don't just take it. Tell him that you saw money somewhere, and that you used it for this or that. Or you ask him why he kept money so carelessly. If you tell him that you need 500k to change your phone, and he's "stupid" enough to give it to you, do not spend the entire 500k on a phone. Spend 250k and show him what you plan to use 250k for. Do not go to your boyfriend's house and start forming over-familiarity with his neighbors. Or going to beg his neighbors for salt, maggi, pepper or even water. If he doesn't have those things in his house at the moment, use your money to buy them. And tell him about it later. There are many ways that you as a lady can show that you're not a liability or a leech. But your ojúkòkòrò will not let you be great. To you, your toto water is all that matters. I pity you. End.

It’s easy to critique from the sidelines, but governing a country like Nigeria requires dealing with realities that didn’t start in 2023. Yes, allocations to states have increased—and that matters. It gives governors more capacity to pay salaries, invest in infrastructure, and reduce debt burdens. Dismissing that as “just inflation” ignores the real fiscal space now available at subnational levels. On subsidy removal: it was never going to be painless. But continuing a system that benefited a few, drained trillions, and encouraged smuggling was simply unsustainable. The real question is not whether it hurts now—but whether Nigeria finally chose long-term stability over short-term comfort. Renewable energy ranking? Fair point—no need to exaggerate progress. But progress is being made in energy reforms, and results take time. As for “APC staying together,” stability in governance is not a crime. Fragmentation and constant political crisis won’t fix electricity, security, or inflation. Nigeria’s challenges are real—no one is denying that. But rebuilding an economy after years of structural issues is not instant. Reforms are ongoing, and outcomes will follow consistency. Criticism is valid. But let’s not pretend difficult decisions are the same as wrong decisions.

Tinubu spoke at Eagle Square and the fact-checkers went to work immediately. State allocations tripled? Mostly true. But tripled naira allocations during hyperinflation is not prosperity. It is inflation wearing a bigger number. Subsidy removal stabilised the economy? Debatable. Tell that to the man spending ₦300,000 on fuel weekly and the family eating once a day. Nigeria ranks second in renewable energy behind India? Completely false. Not even close. China, USA, and Brazil would like a word. APC remains intact? True. But a party that stays together to share power while Nigerians suffer is not a success story. It is a coalition of interests protecting itself. Laser-focused on results? The lights are still off. The soldiers are still dying. The fuel is still ₦1,450. A convention is not governance. A speech is not delivery. Eagle Square looked full. Nigeria still feels empty. 👀 Nigeria observers

@ruffydfire Fuel subsidy removal didn't stabilize the economy. It stabilized GOVERNMENT FINANCES Fuel subsidy removal slowed down the economy FX subsidy removal destabilized the naira exchange rates scaring away FDI which in combination with manufacturing output etc lead to high inflation

@ruffydfire This isn’t reform—it’s suffering repackaged as policy. Nigerians are paying more, getting less, and being told to be patient while the numbers are dressed up as progress.

As a man, never give your woman too much freedom. Make her depend on your approval before she does most things. Most of the time, stand your ground on certain issues such as: - how she dresses - what she posts online - when she takes extra shifts - when she goes out - when she returns - the kind of people she listens to etc. This is not controlling; it is protecting her. A woman with 100% freedom will self-destruct and may destroy you too. Learn from people who have been destroyed by this or learn from your own destruction.

I just read a DM from a married woman. She narrated a lot to me about what she's going through in her marriage, & needs me to chat with her husband because he's also a follower. Problem is that I don't think I can chat with him because it bothers on finance and provision. I know men and our ego. And it might cause more issues in their marriage. I don't think I also want to post her DM (even though she's not a subscriber). There are too much details in her DM that if her husband gets to read it, it would completely shatter him. Here is what I want to say to young single women. 1) there is a difference between supporting your man and enabling your man. Don't do more than you should do for a man, just because you're desperate to get married. If you enable your man, he would relax and still low-key resent you & depend on you for survival. If you support your man, he would appreciate it, and rely on you only when it's necessary. 2) don't pay rent for your man, & don't bring a man to come live with you because he's stranded or cannot afford to pay his rent. 3) except your family wants to do anything extra to make your wedding elaborate, do not fund your wedding, just because you want to get married. You may wish to do the lighter things, but your husband should bear most of the costs of your wedding. Here is what I want to say to young single men. 1) no woman enjoys it when she's providing for you, paying the rent and feeding you for the most part. It doesn't matter if you help her in doing the house chores or go to the market for her. 2) your wife would be highly tempted to go cheat on you because of money to cater for herself, and your children. Especially if she's not working or she's not making enough. In the DM that I just read from that married woman, she made some comments that may be pointing to that area. She said their sex life is dead. And that she has a banging body and that she is beautiful. I checked her picture and she's right. 3) do not be a habitual debtor. If you're fond of borrowing money from friends and family, and you don't pay back, you'd lose almost all your lifeline of support. No one would come to your rescue because you have burned too many bridges. 4) you should see your wife and children hungry, and keep telling your wife "what do you want me to do?" It hurts a woman to see that she has a husband, and her children are hungry. You'd push her to do the unthinkable. And she would blame you for it. 5) if your wife's family are constantly being disturbed by your wife for financial support, you'd lose all your respect from them, and if care is not taken, they may ask her to return home, since you cannot cater to their daughter. I hope I have been able to explain things the best ways and realistic ways possible. End.

Qualities of a good wife. 1) she's mostly interested in the academics of the children. 2) she goes to bed after her entire family and wakes up before everyone. 3) she's always financially accountable to her husband. 4) she doesn't let her financial success get into her head. 5) she makes sure that she cooks the meal of her husband, whenever she's free to do it, regardless of the number of maids that they have. 6) she protects her husband and covers his shsme. Especially from their children. 7) she most likely would not cheat on her husband. And even when she does, she would do it with a man that has shame and a lot to lose. 8) she's almost always clean. Her hygiene turns her man on. 9) She's not a religious woman who jumps from one religious house to the other. And her religious leader is not above her husband. 10) she'll not cheat back when her husband cheats. 11) she's not a feminist. 12) she shows a lot of respect for her father. And she avoids her mother who wants to stain her white. 13) she's submissive and respectful, because the man has earned it. 14) she'll never turn the minds of your children against you. Even if your marriage with her did not work out. 15) she doesn't have to have a big bumbum, or the most banging body or pretty face. These are just a few. End.
