Hi @rmcleman! I took your ES101 course in 1st year, and has since left a lasting impact on my perspective on climate change. As an advocate for the global climate crisis and the impact of human participation, do you have any advice for young people who want to make a difference?

Not a huge fan of racial hate crimes. Between BLM and the threats against the Asian community - it's looking like COVID-19 had really brought out the worst in people. However despicable though, at least the news is willing to publicize it. cnn.com/2021/03/19/us/…

I have really enjoyed releasing my own content through the past few weeks of this course, highlighting topics of interest and importance to me. Through Twitter analytics, I can see that it made an impression on others as well!

@Em203Ewatt There are many different things an individual is able to do in efforts of reducing global warming right from the comfort of their own home. However, for many individuals global warming goes unnoticed or they don't believe that is really affecting them. #EM203problems

@EM203maya The COVID-19 pandemic has significantly impacted funding for community-based social groups. While stay-at-home orders have been in effect, programs have not been able to run, therefore not providing social support for those of lower socioeconomic status. #EM203problems
