@WesDJones @InsiderOilers Income inequality in Canada is growing. The rich are getting an increasing slice of the pie. The poor are getting less & less. A lot of people are going to be really hurting soon. Asking the wealthy to pay more to ease the pain at the other end of the scale is right thing to do.

MP @JenicaAtwin - I am hoping that this government is open to programs such as a Guaranteed Livable Income or Universal Basic Income. We need universal childcare so women can work and we have a full recovery for all workers.

Canada has made some great progress with flattening the curve of COVID-19, but it is up to us to follow all public safety guidelines and keep socially distancing. Wear a mask so we don't lose the progress made thus far!

@EM203NickR I agree, as I enjoyed this lesson as well. However, with the media it is important to be able to see beyond and not take everything portrayed as credible. On the other hand, media allows individuals to learn an abundance of information everyday.

During the first few lessons of #EM203Robin I have learned many things about how we learn in the digital age. One of those things being the 3 M's and how media contributes to learning.

@EM203KDesai I completed a difficult Sudoku puzzle as well! With regards to your point on connectivism, I completely agree it is very relevant in today's times especially with the situation of COVID-19 and schools, organizations, and businesses having to move operations virtually.

During the past three weeks, we have studied various learning theories in the digital age. I learned about connectivism and how it is represented in today’s society. I enjoyed this week’s lesson in particular as it pushed me to solve a difficult sudoku! #EM203Robin

@EM203DSchoester Hey Daniel, that is a great point. I think in these unprecedented times we are encountering today, connectivism is very relevant with all the schools, organizations, and businesses having to virtually change their norms and adapt to the situation in front of all of us.

@EM203ChristineA Hey Christine, I completely agree with your example about how the internet is teaching people new ways to learn and challenging that "traditional style". As individuals, companies, and other organizations learn to adapt to new ways of learning, it is crucial to stay ahead.

Over the first weeks, I've learned how moving into a 'digital age' has altered the way we learn. With the introduction of internet, the way info is spread has drastically changed. For example, there are newer ways of learning that challenges the traditional style. #EM203Robin

@EM203cjk3130 I completely agree with our takeaway from the first couple weeks of the course. Social media and all other technology is changing the way we as people and the world in general learns. Being able to adapt and move forward through this change will be imperative for all.
