Over the last few weeks of EM203, I've learned a lot about how modern technology and the "digital age" has affected how we learn. I think one of the most interesting lessons had to do with multi-media and multi-tasking and how I can apply these when I learn. #EM203Robin

@BlainBritt I find it cool how we can see news about anywhere in the world at anytime as soon as it happens. It definitely keeps me well connected and teaches me a lot more about the world!

Digital technology like Twitter heavily relies on social connections for it to be of any value. It is only through time and immersion for this understanding to be achieved. This course is teaching me how social media like Twitter can be used for many different reasons #EM203Robin

@EM203MDay Hey Maya, I can say from experience that multitasking has a negative effect on my study habits! I always think I can watch a show while doing some small work without getting distracted!

In the past three weeks of EM203, I was exposed to different learning theories, specifically learning by doing. I experienced the negative effects that multitasking can have on your studying and I learned a new skill- singing ‘Twinkle Twinkle Little Star’ in German #EM203Robin

These last 3 weeks have been extremely insightful and hands on. I was tasked to learn about cognitivism which aligned with my interests in AI as well as learn to how make a paracord keychain. EM203 is a unique course and I am looking forward to the future lessons. #EM203Robin

@Em203Nick @EM203cjk3130 This is a good point and I agree that social media has changed how we learn. It allows for people to know about news and current events the moment they happen and learn the facts about them.

@EM203cjk3130 I completely agree with our takeaway from the first couple weeks of the course. Social media and all other technology is changing the way we as people and the world in general learns. Being able to adapt and move forward through this change will be imperative for all.

Last few weeks of EM203 I learned about the way teaching and learning is shifting due to rise of social media and advancement of digital age. Also the impact of it on global events such as the human rights revolution in 011. #EM203Robin

During the first few lessons of #EM203Robin I have learned many things about how we learn in the digital age. One of those things being the 3 M's and how media contributes to learning.
