@EmAGray you’re the one “mocking”, and claiming people are unsafe while not giving any demonstration of that unsafety - neither anecdote nor statistic. you’ve also took a convo about abuse faced by victims, decided to use gender-stereotyping adjectives throughout, and NOT deal with it

so many times i’ve had tme queer friends act surprised when i tell them i was run out of teaching by a local church starting a harassment campaign bc they “know a trans teacher out here who is treated well” and every time it’s a transmasc like yeah babe no shit

@EmAGray bigots being bigots: “gives me the ick” about how “you personally present yourself”🤔 you can use words to describe what’s ‘giving you the ick’ I’d personally say you have high desire for people to ‘conform’ to your toxic ‘gender’ expectations your adjective choices show that.
Emma Gray@EmAGray

@hlarryious And so we're abundantly clear: that one isnt about men in general. It's about the way you personally present yourself and choose to act. Makes my skin crawl. Gives me the ick. Tingles my sessapinae.

@hlarryious Yes. Petulant little abusers are a thing. I garuntee any woman you ask will know the type. Sulky men who are conflict averse and not mature enough to accept not getting their way. As to my glibness? Women are famously good at multitasking.

@EmAGray “Petulant little” is almost always paired with child: petulant little child. you keep using gendered, infantile size/power words you’ve still not provided abuse statistics while discussing abuse, NOR given examples of singular abuse. You’re mocking… and discussing abuse. 🤔 🤔

@hlarryious I've mostly just been mocking you for claiming to be a different class of man. But so we're clear: you claim to be "not like other guys," in all the ways that are red flags for petulant little abusers..all without a lick of self awareness about your own internalised transphobia.

@hlarryious I just respect that trans men are men. If you see being treated as a man as a negative thing and find malice in that, I suggest therapy.

@EmAGray you’ve switched to malgendering trans men in a new way (+still haven’t brought statistics) you just want to malgender trans men, it appears - since you started with pretending they’re responsible for c|s violence, and now are using clearly misogynistic terms rather than treating

@hlarryious So you don't want to be treated like a man, but a special class of helpless, harmless men? You're very confusing.

@EmAGray In fact, you’d probably recognize that AS transphobia denialism, if that were done: “transmisogyny doesn’t happen to trans women because they’re cıs women, as I can ONLY think of cıs women as a framework” So why are YOU doing trans erasure, AND transphobia-denialism, to t men?

@hlarryious I'm being transphobic by treating trans men the same way I treat cis men..? Following your logic...because some trans men don't pass, I should assume they're special boys who wont hurt me? Thats transphobia, my guy.

@EmAGray that’s not you w statistics that’s you leaning on rhetoric to justify transphobia Both ARE women, yes Do you see trans women’s situations as 100% indistinguishable from cıs women’s lived life? “they don’t face transphobia! They don’t face transmisogyny! ID’s always been correct”

@EmAGray Do you have any evidence that trans men are responsible for murders and assaults of women, in any significant number higher than the baseline rate of women who do the behavior? Not your *feelings*, but evidence of harm. Redefining trans men as cıs men is part of cis supremacy

@EmAGray the original is about cıs murder rates: femicides by cıs men, and sexual assaults done by cıs men making it about ‘annoying’, when the post is painting trans people as rap!sts based on their gender AND people w H!tler, openly in their bio, were the main folks agreeing with you.

@thereisnobeth @chipilonita concur with you both on that!! Sidenote: want to point out on last week’s ‘Bear’ conversation, there wasn’t declarations that rhetoric portraying all trans men as rap!sts was unacceptable and transphobic (0%, NOT saying you=agree w it ofc) you follow this account, thereisnobeth

A transvestite would NOT want breasts nor SRS. A transgender would want breasts but NOT SRS. They would be squeamish about breasts because it would publicize their fetish. They also wouldn't want getting them to interfere with their ability to have orgasm with their penis. But having breasts would validate their external gender. A transsexual would want breasts and SRS. Having breasts would not be uncomfortable nor make them squeamish even with losing ability to orgasm. They would universally prioritize having SRS over breasts. Having SRS would validate their internal sex.

A better test than desires for SRS for if someone actually has MtF gender dysphoria or not is whether or not they want breasts. MtF women in my experience seem to universally want them while femboys or those doing it for sexuality/aesthetics get uncomfortable at the idea of them

@puppylover64630 @sealcells It also really appeals to the mindset of TERFs and other bioessentialists so they're likely to get lovebombed for saying it.

@puppylover64630 @sealcells Kind of. Like with most things, it's more complicated when you're trans...and it ignores a ton of external factors in favour of a really easy way to say "we can't be like the BAD MEN," but "this group of women CAN."

@sealcells Like, IDK if they got half-way through the chain and hit a block or if they stopped at the frist thing they thought about. Or if they're part of or victims of a TERF psy-op.

@sealcells I'm trying to work out how underbaked their thought process on this is. I'd actually love to sit down with trans men/mascs who think like this and hear about their childhoods.
