I had been feeling very ill lately so I went to the doctor. It turns out I have "Bright's Disease", which is a disease of the kidneys.

@Ro_Fro12 Hey Robert! I hear that you are moving to London. That sounds like quite an adventure!

My mother has just become very ill and for the time being I will take care of her.

There has recently been a lot of grief in my family and friends. Two of my good friends have passed away.

Since I have been in my house for a while i have had a lot of time to write some beautiful pieces of art.

My father has just died in the year of 1874. There is great grief in my family and I am staying inside my house for a while.

In 1864 I went to stay with my cousins in Boston. I went to an eye doctor there and the doctor told me I was forbidden to read and write.

When I was seventeen years old I left to go to South Hadley, Massachusetts. There I attended Mount Holyoke Female Seminary.
