In 1970, "A Boy Named Sue" won a Grammy!

@ryandeantwit Hi Langston, my first song came out in an album called Hairy Jazz. I also wrote many other songs for other famous artists.

In the 1950's, I enlisted in the armed forces, and served in the Korean War.

I have been writing poems since I was 12 years old. Since none of the girls liked me i began to write, which ended up being a good thing!
