From the article: "Prosecutors say the second alleged scheme involves a man identified in court documents as Gregory Gillespie. Between July 2021 and August 2022, Owens allegedly carried out a series of deceptions to convince Gillespie that she was pregnant, prosecutors say. The indictment accuses her of using forged medical documents and stolen identities to support that claim, including an ultrasound image belonging to another woman and a fabricated note signed by someone else. Investigators allege that Owens used both women’s personal information without consent and that she presented the forged documents to Gillespie. In addition to the identity-theft and forgery charges, prosecutors say Owens threatened to accuse Gillespie of a crime in an attempt to obtain money or services from him, which led to a theft-by-extortion charge."

NEW: Laura Owens has been indicted on new felony charges involving a second victim. The charges stem from allegedly falsifying documents when claiming to have been impregnated by the victim. Owens is the same woman who claimed to have been impregnated by former Bachelor Clayton Echard, a case she is also facing charges for. Owens' new charges are: -One count of Perjury, a Class Four Felony  -One count of Fraudulent Schemes and Artifices, A Class Two Felony  -Two counts of Taking the Identity of Another, a Class Four Felony -Two counts of Forgery, a Class Four Felony -One count of Theft by Extort-Accuse of Crime, a Class Four Felony *Updated my earlier post to clarify these charges involve a *second* victim @12News
