Fact is @murpharoo defeat of #Voice was not rejection of #IndigenousPeoples. Most voters decided Voice would not work & were offended that legislation was not passed before #Referendum spelling out how it would work if we voted YES. This enabled NO to spread lies. Huge blunder.

Can't agree @WillPaul2 that #racism caused #VoiceReferendum to fail. Some NO voters were racist but not all. YES ran campaign that concentrated on what was good for the 3% of voters who are #Indigenous but said little about aspirations of other 97%. This blunder caused loss.
