@UtahFlatRanger Give a man a fish and he’ll be reliant on government. Teach a man to fish and he’ll need to get a job, to pay for the ID, get in the social security system, have half his money taken in taxes then pay the fee to get a license to fish.

@cartierfamilyZ California has a top two candidates rule. Whomever is the top two during a primary becomes the nominees regardless of party. This system has prevented republicans from being on many ballots in the state.

Alabama. Georgia. Louisiana. Tennessee. Your fight is our fight. If you're not from these states, it's time to pull up. We are bound together. It was 300 congregants at Ebenezer who changed the world in the 1960s. We can make a new world together today.

@lizchar Grant was a Republican who supported constitutionalism and opposed income taxes.

@lizchar Ironic since it was democrats who argued that white democrats in the south do not vote for black candidates in an attempt to justify a second racially gerrymandered district in Louisiana.

@Montrose_4 I should have said “weaponized against the right for legitimate injunctions against unconstitutional EOs”.

@Montrose_4 No. Though the devil is in the details. The law of unintended consequences suggests this will be weaponized against the right for legitimate unconstitutional injunctions. SCOTUS will likely ruling this law as an unconstitutional breach of the separation of powers.

The House passed a bill that’s now in the Senate. If it becomes law, activist judges issuing nationwide injunctions to block Trump’s policies could be arrested for exceeding their authority, ending so-called black robe tyranny. Do you support this? A. Yes B. No

The Supreme Court’s decision gutting the Voting Rights Act was the worst opinion of Marc Elias’ lifetime. “We are going to see Republicans…try to use this to try to delegitimize, to try to say it is illegitimate for any community of Black voters to elect their candidate of choice,” @marceelias said on a recent @DeadlineWH appearance.

Tina Peters went to prison for illegally letting a Mike Lindell associate copy sensitive Dominion voting machine data in her Colorado county to chase fake 2020 fraud claims, causing passwords and secrets to leak online. Not for her "strange beliefs."
Acyn@Acyn

Polis on Tina Peters: She has very strange beliefs. She'll probably continue to have them. We don't punish people in this country for having strange beliefs. The place to resolve those differences is by debate, by discourse, by arguing with her, with by disputing her, not for keeping her behind bars simply because of what she believes or says

We know most anti-abortion supporters don't believe abortion is murder because most of them do not support punishing women who have abortions as murderers. No state that bans abortion treats women who have abortions as murderers (or, in fact, as criminals at all). And every time a bill to do so is offered, it dies without ever even coming to a vote. That would not happen if most opponents of abortion genuinely believe it is the moral equivalent of infanticide.

@EmTeaVe @MeidasTouch She cost the county hundreds of thousands of dollars to replace voting machines that she tampered with. The taxpayers were the injured party.

@DJKlose1 @EmTeaVe @denverpost @barnes_law I see, what “crimes” did she expose by breaking the law? Remember, Trump has had 6 years and unlimited resources to prove his lies. Or is it still coming “any day now?”

After they bought into a failed prophecy that Republicans would have an “epiphany” after they lost the 2020 election, Democratic voters are now demanding less compromise and more combat against the GOP. nbcnews.com/politics/elect…
