New York has its first official breakdown of what share of people are hospitalized for COVID vs. how many are hospitalized with incidental COVID. In NYC it's 49% for COVID, everyone else just happened to test positive.

Absolutely amazing news that so many got appointments! But if your IT team is not aware that at various points today the site had blank text on key menu items, didn't work on mobile, only worked on Chrome browsers etc....then we have an even bigger problem.

.@MarkLevineNYC is right—it’s great news we are scheduling shots for folks w/ underlying conditions. But the site isn’t “glitchy” or “crashing”—that’s false. It’s working as intended to manage flow so it DOESN’T crash. 100,000+ appointments booked today. That’s over 350/min.
