It’s because it doesn’t have any elements in it to break up the sound; it’s a concrete box. It could use some plants, screens, architectural elements, and especially softer things like fabrics that would absorb the sound waves. And baffles on the ceiling. It looks really nice and it’s well done. I was there the other night and had a good time.
