📸 En el marco del 220 aniversario del natalicio de Benito Juárez, la presidenta Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo firmó el decreto por el cual se reconoció a Margarita Maza como la primera “Embajadora Histórica de la República Mexicana”. La subsecretaria Raquel Serur (@RaquelSerur3) participó en el acto conmemorativo, en representación del canciller Juan Ramón de la Fuente. Margarita Maza permaneció en Estados Unidos entre 1864 y hasta el triunfo de la República en 1867. Durante ese tiempo, en especial en 1866, tuvo un papel activo y relevante a favor del reconocimiento de la República ante el gobierno de ese país. #EmbajadoraHistórica #MargaritaMaza

Foreign Secretary Juan Ramón de la Fuente reports no incidents involving Mexican nationals in the Middle East as of this time.

Con la Embajadora de Sudáfrica en Etiopía, Nonceba Losi, gran amiga. El próximo 11 de junio arranca el Mundial de fútbol 2026 ⚽️ con el partido inaugural México-Sudáfrica. Planeamos hoy juntos convocar a las personalidades de Etiopía para ver el juego, promover la cultura de nuestros países y demostrar que el fútbol une pueblos.

. @SRE_mx is in contact with the diplomatic missions accredited in Mexico and appreciates the messages of support for our Security Forces. At this time, there are no reports of foreign nationals harmed. However, the Ministry stands ready to respond to any report or request for assistance. As the Security Cabinet reported this morning, peace and security have been restored in the areas affected by yesterday’s operation in the state of Jalisco. Our missions abroad have been informed, and we are in communication with the embassies in Mexico that have issued consular advisories for their nationals, to provide any information they may require. In Mexico, the rule of law prevails to protect the security and wellbeing of everyone in the country.

La @SRE_mx informa que ha mantenido contacto con el cuerpo diplomático acreditado en nuestro país y con todas nuestras representaciones en el exterior, con el objetivo de informar sobre el operativo que se llevó a cabo el día de ayer por fuerzas federales de seguridad. Se ha transmitido que la prioridad del gobierno es trabajar por la paz, la seguridad, la justicia y el bienestar de los ciudadanos, así como la de todas las personas que se encuentren en territorio nacional.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs commends the courageous work of the women and men of the Ministry of National Defense and the entire Security Cabinet, and expresses its solidarity with those who risked their lives in today’s operation. In Mexico, the rule of law prevails, and under the leadership of President Claudia Sheinbaum, work continues every day to ensure security and wellbeing in our country.
