They treat Bruno like some god-like legend when he’s been an absolute dogshit player his entire career.
Man United fans don’t rate Pogba, who won three trophies with the club including the Europa League, which Bruno failed to win. You don’t see them hype Pogba up; they even tend to belittle his achievements just to suck Bruno's balls more.
Instead, they hype up Bruno, who has zero major trophies to his name. His former club even won the league immediately after he left.
