@queenbeanracing As someone who isn't doing this (so unbiased), I think I disagree. Any number of respectable reasons people might do this. Maybe they're in a geoblocked area, maybe out of funds and enjoy the game, maybe their horses can't compete in paid, maybe some other explanations.

Seeing WAY too many stables I respected running veteran horses in races populated for the maiden. Embarrassing.

@ElderRacing @zed_run adding those 3.0 breed conditional races will be huge until aging kicks in

I am more bullish on @zed_run then I have been in a long time. If Zed can survive to see 1.0/gens age decay. Stables will be able to create monsters. They could make Dailies for the young 3.0's, Weekly sit and go and monthly sit and go for the 1.0's and Gens.

For those wondering why everyone runs double ups to qualify, here’s a great illustration. Alabaster Lily in C2 T3 (left) vs doubles (right). 90+ var but underpowered at level 478. Slightly unprofitable in both formats unfortunately, but sitting #1 in mids thanks to doubles. 🐎 🌺
