And that’s a wrap on VibeCon India. Two days of focused building, strong ideas, and a room full of people who genuinely care about what they’re creating. It came together in the best way.

participated in a hackathon after a long long time, and it was such a fun experience i think @emergentlabs did a phenomenal job with vibecon - kudos @nitprashant @mukundjha and the entire emergent team i think some builders were dejected + not happy with the results very natural to feel this but let me share my two cents as someone who has hosted, judged and participated in a lot of hackathons (especially vibe coding) > since the outcome is subjective, it is always gonna be hard unless there is a super clear outlier > it is insanely difficult to judge > 10 entries, a lot of biases such as recency etc come into play > it is just not about the product, it is equally about the narrative as well > rarely the best product or the best idea wins because how do you define best is very subjective? so many different ways to think about it i think hackathons are a great testing ground for you to understand your skill, your working relationship with your team, your storytelling skills and also your ability to pull evrything together in a tight timeline the only outcome you should care about is could you think of an idea and build it out to your satisfaction? if yes, thats a job well done ps: you have the internet to talk about your product and it might as well lead to much better outcomes :)
