Big news: New York delivery drivers have beat Grubhub and Seamless in court, and will officially get a new $18/hr minimum wage. The pay for these 60,000 gig workers will rise to $20/hr by 2025.

The lawsuit from Ubereats & Grubhub have cost the deliveristas an estimated $15 million in wages. That’s $15 million missing from our communities. Big apps have gotten away with paying poverty wages for far too long. It’s time #deliveristas receive the minimum pay they deserve.
