@pontusab I haven't been an active user of your product, but I've been following both of your journeys for quite some time and often used to use midday as a benchmark for UX when my team and I were shipping. Cheers on the new chapter @pontusab @viktorhofte

Midday is joining Ramp We started Midday to build something we wanted for ourselves and it grew into something much bigger than we expected. And here is the story behind it 🧵

I'm using firefox just for DRM (Pretty much exclusively for Netflix and prime video). I really love the work you guys have done (especially the compact layout, that was enough for me to switch) Cheers @uwukko I hope to contribute to this wonderful piece of software sometime soon

Finally! This is the most optimal layout for me. I've completely switched to @heliumbrowser and ditched everything else. I wasn't a big fan of the layout that @arcinternet introduced. I am someone who Ctrl+Tab a lot between tabs. Not being able to see my tabs was making me crazy.

the framework 13 pro is the macbook pro of linux >haptic touchpad >great touchscreen >insane battery life >full aluminum chassis >comfortable keyboard framework sent me a pre-production unit and i'm genuinely blown away by this machine i've been daily driving a framework machine for over a year and the 13 pro feels 10x more premium to me the biggest win is battery life: i can confidently say this machine easily lasts me the entire day (and this is with capping my charging to 80% for battery health). i'm someone who always carries a battery bank on me but with this machine battery truly isn't a concern i can do my work for hours on end and still have hours of battery life to spare. i can go work at a coffee shop and not have to worry about being near an outlet. while it sounds small this gives me immense peace of mind which is what i try to optimize for in my life and like any framework i can still repair/upgrade any part of this machine if you're looking for a new machine i highly recommend checking out the new framework 13 pro

My new cryptography puzzle is now live. Will pay $1,000 to the first person who DMs me the plaintext decryption of the first line. 2nd line is a hint. If you send me slop, AI hallucinations, or a decryption of the 2nd line, you are disqualified. x.com/theo/status/20…

For no reason in particular, I made my first crypto challenge. I will pay $1,000 to whoever solves it first. Winner is whoever gets the answer into my DMs first.

VERCEL GOT HACKED ShinyHunters - the group behind the Ticketmaster breach - is selling Vercel's internal database for $2M on BreachForums here's why every developer should care: - they have NPM tokens and GitHub tokens - Vercel owns Next.js - 6 million weekly downloads - one malicious push = global supply chain attack - Vercel confirmed the breach today, April 19 - they literally DMed the hackers on Telegram asking them to stop rotate your env variables RIGHT NOW

Introducing Claude Opus 4.7, our most capable Opus model yet. It handles long-running tasks with more rigor, follows instructions more precisely, and verifies its own outputs before reporting back. You can hand off your hardest work with less supervision.

Open source is dead. That’s not a statement we ever thought we’d make. @calcom was built on open source. It shaped our product, our community, and our growth. But the world has changed faster than our principles could keep up. AI has fundamentally altered the security landscape. What once required time, expertise, and intent can now be automated at scale. Code is no longer just read. It is scanned, mapped, and exploited. Near zero cost. In that world, transparency becomes exposure. Especially at scale. After a lot of deliberation, we’ve made the decision to close the core @calcom codebase. This is not a rejection of what open source gave us. It’s a response to what risks AI is making possible. We’re still supporting builders, releasing the core code under a new MIT-licensed open source project called cal. diy for hobbyists and tinkerers, but our priority now is simple: Protecting our customers and community at all costs. This may not be the most popular call. But we believe many companies will come to the same conclusion. My full explanation below ↓

Found this very relevant explainer on the net. 🫤 Yes, Cloudflare is down again. That makes 3 major global outages in a month (Amazon, Cloudflare, Cloudflare).
