Of cats, quanta and computers. An #outreach talk at the @UraniaBerlin now has a date: the 6th of June 2024. The journey involves our cat, the Google AI quantum computer and Konrad Zuse's Z1 computer, and provides an overview over #quantuminformation and #quantumcomputing. Looking forward to this.

The James Clerk Maxwell Medal and Prize, one of the #IOPAwards23 Bronze Early Careers Medals and Prizes, has been won by Dr Nikolas Breuckmann of @BristolUni for outstanding contributions to the quantum error correction field. 👏

Congratuliations to @richardkueng for an impressive achievement in #Quantumcomputing research at the #JKUlinz 🎉 He receives an @erc_research starting grant for his project "q-shadows - Quantum-Classical Interfaces".🏆 go.jku.at/n23o2
