I’m excited to share that I recently moved from Canada to Sweden to start my PhD with @FredrikJutfelt at @goteborgsuni 🇸🇪 I will be here for my full PhD (4-5 years) working on both zebrafish and three-spine stickleback thermal tolerance 🐟

Here are some shots of old and current lab mates at the annual @SEBiology conference🐟 This was my 1st SEB conference, and it was quite a success! I shared my preliminary data for zebrafish swimming performance under varying temp and oxygen levels. Looking forward for next year.

The first chapter of my PhD will be focusing on Zebrafish standard metabolic rate (#SMR) and maximum metabolic rate (#MMR) at varying thermal and oxygenation levels ! Attached are #zebrafish in static intermittent flow chambers and a 3D-printed swim tunnel!

I’m happy to share that my bonus chapter from my MSc @TrentUniversity is finally published in @cjfas 🔔 We investigated thermal acclimation and its reversal in embryos and subsequent life stages of brook trout (a North American native species) 🐟

New things coming to @cjfas ! I’m happy to announce that my 3rd first-author paper from my MSc is nearly published. I’m extremely grateful for all the support given by my previous lab and I can’t wait to add to the growing lit on early life stage thermal tolerance 🐣
