Tried to log in - instagram disabled my account for ... "not following their terms" - on a brand new account. Make it make sense.
After some research this seems like a widespread problem on top of in-use accounts being disabled for no reason.

I never really used Instagram, but thought I'd create an account for this + threads.
Given up now, I'm shocked at how bad their system is. New account gave me an error on account creation, but said account name+email taken when trying to create again.
