@EmiratesSupport @emirates I applied for a refund for my flight for 28 March, through the refund link on the emirates update message, on Saturday 14th March. Only got an acknowledgment email for the request. No refund till now, Wednesday 18 March. A friend of mine got his refund in 48 hrs, how much longer?

@mcgivernliam Hi, yes if you are travelling before 15 April there will be no additional fees for cancellations or rebookings.

@EmiratesSupport @emirates I’ve been desperately seeking confirmation that if I am travelling before 15 April, and use the refund form on the website, will we get a full refund (without cancellation fees or penalties)? I’ve had no answer on email or calling.

Emirates has resumed reduced flight operations after a temporary suspension earlier this morning (16 March, 2026). Some flights from today’s schedule have been cancelled. Affected customers will receive a cancellation notice and will be advised on reaccommodation options. Customers are advised to check the status of their flight on emirat.es/flightstatus before heading to the airport. Customers transiting in Dubai will only be accepted for travel if their connecting flight is operating. Please do not go to the airport unless you hold a confirmed booking. Emirates continues to monitor the situation, and we will develop our operational schedule accordingly. Customers can review the latest operational updates on emirates.com, and should check their email for notifications about changes or cancellations to their flights before travelling to the airport. We would like to thank our customers for their understanding and patience. The safety and security of our passengers and crew remain our highest priority, and will not be compromised.
