The IB English Mock Trial of Capitu from Dom Casmurro is complete. The verdict is in. With a vote of 32-25 Capitu was found innocent.

LD Bell guard camp was great. I’m so proud of my school kiddos and this amazing camp they set up. I’m also glad my own daughter could participate. She loved it. LD Bell is the best place to be.

It’s Red Ribbon week. Our dress up was rhyme with no reason- so you’ve got DJ and PJs.

The LD Bell homecoming parade was fantastic. I was very excited to share in the fun with my own future Blue Raider.

Our first pep rally of the year!! The theme was construction, so I knew I needed to dig out my dad’s old suspenders. His work ethic and sense of joy is something I try to bring to school everyday, so it was nice to have another something of his with me today.

Best work crew I could ask for. I’m blessed to be part of the Bell English Department.

Day two and AP LANG is learning the joy of SPACE-CAT (a great strategy + cute shirt = double the fun).

Today we celebrated the LD Bell IB Class of 2023 and a special good bye to our IB Coordinator and leader Mrs Shane. I also want to say a special thank you to the IB junior volunteers who helped make today’s ceremony run smoothly.

Fun was had by all at the Powder Puff Football game! Junior class cruised to a 24-0 win!

Dress up days are the best. Soccer mom Vs. BBQ Dad was lots of fun. I think my students enjoyed the fruit snacks while working on their essays.

After spending three weeks (including three Tuesdays) with Tuesdays with Morrie my AP English III class wrote their own chapters describing their perfect days, valuable life lessons, and deep questions.

LD Bell Stuco is officially on their way to district 3 Lakeview Retreat! So excited for the opportunity to continue to learn new leadership skills and ways to improve our school!
