The thing that defines Hasan, Code Pink, and most of the DSA-extended-universe convoy members is not complicated. It's "America Bad".
Look, sometimes America is bad. But that's quite literally the only lens they're capable of seeing the world through. It's why the DSA cozied up to Maduro. It's why Hasan thinks the Houthi terrorists are so cool and said America deserved 9/11. If something is against America, it's good. End of story. They don't have an ideology beyond that.

A source sent me this photo of Kash Patel’s customized Nike’s. The shoes feature a number 9 (Patel is the 9th FBI director), a Punisher skull (a vigilante killer from Marvel Comics), and his personal logo (K$H). The backs of the shoes show the FBI motto: "Fidelity, Bravery, Integrity". Patel was photographed wearing them at an FBI Academy event that featured UFC fighters.

Justin Fox. Six hours under oath. Couldn't define DEI. Used ChatGPT to hunt for "homosexual" in grant descriptions but not "white." Canceled a Holocaust documentary. Axed a museum's HVAC grant because AI flagged "diverse audiences."
No legal authority to cancel any of it. Depositions confirm that too.
Pod Save America called it amateur hour and that's fair. But it undersells it a little. Amateur hour implies they tried. What the sworn record shows is something closer to reckless indifference toward $100 million in lawfully appropriated funds... and the people those grants were built to serve.
