@drkenon2 How people speak from their stomach.
I challenge this hunger stricken man to take this interview to Arise TV. He will not leave that studio the same.

The best combo the country desperately needs now.
Take it or leave it.

@OurFavOnlineDoc This is heartbreaking.
Has the society really gone this low...
A child shivering under the rain just to get food.
Too sad

It was during my NYSC in February 1998. I arrived in Anambra almost empty-handed — no place of primary assignment, no job, no relations. Just me and God.
A guy decided to house and feed me. He lived opposite Dennis Memorial Grammar School (DMGS).
Through a Nigerian Breweries contact, I decided to work for Princess Iphy Eze, the Managing Director of Apples of Gold, Onitsha. There was no salary.
As Easter was approaching, she sent me to a motherless babies’ home in Onitsha.
When I got there, the children were all over me. At that moment, I had just ₦130 with me - the money I had just been paid for designing a banner. I had already planned to give the money to Lanre, the young man who was housing me, to support him.
But suddenly, I felt a strong urge to drop the money there. That urge was further echoed by a voice that said I should leave the money, with a promise that I would be rewarded as one of the highest-paid corps members in Nigeria.
I signed their register and I dropped the money.
Then the same voice said, “Because you have done this, today by 3:00pm you will receive the promise.”
3:00pm today? Hmm… that sounded like a very good deal. I said to myself.
So I went back to the office and waited. The other staff members were surprised I was still there that late. I told them I was expecting someone by 3:00pm.
At exactly 2:59pm, Mr. Charles Illoegbunam, the Head of Sales Representatives at the Onitsha Depot, rushed into the office shouting,
“Where is Nduka? Where is Nduka?”
“I am here, sir!”
He said, “You need to pack your bags and see me at the office tomorrow morning. Get ready - you will be going to Lagos to pick up a job with Cowbell in Lagos”
And that was how I travelled to Lagos and secured full employment with Wonderfoods (now Promasidor) on May 8, 1998, making me one of the highest-paid corps members in Nigeria at the time — earning almost a year’s worth of what many fellow corps members were receiving.
Praise the Lord!

Guys, I want everyone to learn something from this picture.
The woman behind me is my biological mother, and I am the last born in the family. She slept on that chair the whole night until I was discharged from the hospital 🤔.
Even right now, as I’m telling you this, my mum is still here with me, waiting patiently for me to recover completely.
God bless all mothers for this true and selfless love ❤️🙏
A man, appreciating his Mother.
If your Mother is still alive, drop a heart ❤️
If your Father is still alive, drop a heart ❤️ and pray for them.

@enodamade Medicine is overrated in Nigeria. I meant all core medical professions.
For those who are still there bc of passion.
I may sound a bit harsh, you have just intentionally enslaved yourself to serve others.
Passion without good commensurate welfare is just slavery.
Be creative

10 years as a Medical Doctor in Nigeria.
This is what I could afford.
On this particular day some young boys in a Lexus were laughing at me with my tie under the hot sun of Abeokuta.
There was no way on earth my salary and side hustle could get me another car.
We really need to fix Nigeria for Nigerians not just for a few.

@doctors_squad You doctors won't change
Must you be the first
Considering the arrangement based on no of letters and spread of the profession name, nurses were supposed to be on top.
As usual, u broke protocol 😀
I guess the nurses saw it, but they were ok with being 2nd. Not surprised too 😀
