@saintdiamond1 Whilst I agree it’s too simple to blame no relegation. It is also undoubted that defence in the prem is at an all time low.

If you are a rugby fan and your take on the Bristol defeat is somehow anything to do with the Prem having no relegation, give your head a little wobble. Bristol turned up full bore needing a win to keep their season alive. Pat Lam before the game said everything was on the line for that game. Look at Genge’s face coming onto the pitch. Some of the utter drivel I’ve read this morning from rugby fans on X is laughable. Barely a single tweet praising sublime attack from Saints. Why do fans take the first opportunity to knock at every turn the sport they supposedly care for.

@UniqueSAProblem @cornwall_fraser Get teams in it from Namibia and Zimbabwe as well. There is future markets like Lesotho and Madagascar. Just need some creative thinking. What a league it would be

@cornwall_fraser @T2Rugby I’ve been saying this for ages. They should leave the URC and expand the Currie cup to be pan African. With the top 4 qualifying for the champions cup. Less games so they can concentrate on European completion.

@Toonsy1892 @MichelleDewbs You can do both though. People can win man of the match and others get nothing. At the same time you don’t lambast players who aren’t hey man of the match but building them up to improve and get enjoyment. Kids will enjoy footy even if they don’t win awards.

@MichelleDewbs Hello. Football coach here. I csn tell you nkw your approach goes fully against FA spirit. At age 5 it's about cementing a passion to plsy the game, build confidence and introduce children to playing team sports. This goes hand in hand with recent changes to create 3v3 games 1/2

My 5 year old boy does football training. At the end of the session they do a ‘man of the match’ type thing. My boy is always desperate to win it. He often doesn’t. I explained to him the other day that he didn’t win simply because he wasn’t good enough. That he deffo could win, but he just needs to be better, try harder, be more focused etc. One of the other mums heard me & was aghast at what I said. She told me she is going to get ‘runner-up stickers’ for all the kids who don’t make it. I said no thanks, not for my son. Kids need to learn that they can be the best, but they must apply themselves & dust themselves off when it doesn’t go their way. No consolation prizes, no ‘everyone’s a winner’ etc. There are winners & losers. Wanna win - do your best. Can’t make it? Don’t worry, go & smash something else. Play to your strengths & never, ever play the victim. If more parents & institutions had this attitude, the country would be in a better place - if I say so myself 😉 Cc @KonstantinKisin x.com/KonstantinKisi…

@SarcasticForest Exactly, I’m scarred for life. No celebrating for me as it’s half time m. We’ve got a lot to do at Villa park

Unless we won the first leg tie by a seven goal margin, I don’t think there’s any #nffc fan thinking the tie is done. Even if we were seven up at villa park I still wouldn’t relax until it got ti added time, that’s what Yeovil, Blackpool, Sheffield United and Stoke does to you
Kanny@Kannyzee

I used to think Forest fans were alright, but that was clearly a mistake. Acting like you’ve won the tie after scraping a 1–0 at home with Villa Park still to come is embarrassing. The behaviour from a lot of you has been vile. Get a grip, you haven’t knocked anyone out yet.

@TheAdrianDurham I remember diving a lot in the box @TheAdrianDurham I’m so happy VAR has stopped that. One season in the champ it cost Forest 15 points because of cheating

Nobody's forgotten what it was like before because 1) we're not stupid and 2) we watch football that isn't Premier League so we still appreciate the joy of football without VAR. Also VAR doesn't have to be here to stay. That's Webb's mantra in briefings & it's an insult to fans.
Henry Winter@henrywinter

@Bigalanh5 it's here to stay, people forget what it was like before. it's now a case of getting back to its original intent - clear and obvious

@Landeur If we are to protect British culture from the horrid rise of multiculturalism. The absolute last thing we should be doing is picking on Britishman who aren’t white. Assimilated peoples from across the world is exactly what right of centre people want. I love Wrighty

Not English no matter how well he kicks the ball. That doesn't mean he should be deported. It doesn't mean he's not a good guy. He's just not English, that's all. Ian Wright.

@chrisjonespress @T2Rugby @EnglandRugby @fijirugby @Springboks @lospumas That is a complete joke of true. No wonder Rugby isn’t gaining more traction. Half the games the rfu and the premiership don’t give a toss about so why should we? It’s a great sport that needs a giant kick up the arse. It’s amateur in a professional era

Hearing that with the Nation’s Cup Fiji game in Liverpool between games in South Africa and Argentina that @EnglandRugby may fly direct from SA to ARG with separate squad taking on Fiji in Everton’s ground @fijirugby @Springboks @lospumas
