@tayvseal Not sure if you'll touch on this yet, but much of the newer generation of songwriters/performers have grown up chronically online and are consumers of or at least have exposure to these actual spaces. It's super concerning. It has to impact their art and relationships.

@sourerdoe @LopiBianca I take it as the little girls are the fans who actually approach him in public. As a grown woman, I wouldn’t approach him because he deserves privacy. Younger girls might get excited & feel more free to do that. I am sure he is well aware of the diversity of her fandom.

I deleted my first post from about this being "The Last Dance" for Travis, because it was posted by former WR Cris Carter, who has not always been right.
But this is from his the head of the company he trains with. It certainly seems like he told them something.

@AmelleKyre It could be somewhat generational, but my teen daughters both got it immediately, and we all cried. Crazy how her intentionally using slang as a lyrical example of the persona she adopted/had an internal struggle with could be so misconstrued. Specifically among online spaces.

@EncBear I really honestly think its mostly younger people who think being cringe is the worst thing in the world and cant look past that. I think people who are slightly older seem to mostly be able to connect and understand it in a different way. It hits hard. Ive seen so people cry
